1. X - solo thesis film

 

X is my 3D-animated senior thesis film coming in Spring 2023! Crafted with Unreal Engine 5, I’m delighted to present my film as a testament to my love for sci-fi, mecha, and anime.

As the sole director and creator, I was responsible for the 3D-animated pipeline from Concept, Character Modeling, Character Texturing, Rigging, Set Dressing, Layout, Lighting, and Compositing. Additional Environment Buildings were from Kitbash 3D, and real-time fx were from UE Marketplace.

2. Supercell Squad Busters

A short 30 second game trailer for Supercell’s new mobile game Squad Busters! Assets were exported from Maya and brought in to Unreal Engine 5 for look development, set dressing, lighting, and rendering.
I was responsible for establishing the stylized look development and static and animated lighting on all nine shots, some set dressing tweaks, while adjusting rim and colors on both the characters and set.

3. Walmart Toys Lil' Roy

Walmart's new mascot for their 2024 toys, Lil' Roy, who is featured in Walmart's toy book 2024 and Walmart's toy website! I was responsible for tweaking environment notes using Unreal's modeling tools and sculpting the snow geometry, tweaked material parameters for look development in Unreal's sequencer, and finalized lighting.

4. Game of Thones Legends

A 46 second animated trailer of the Game of Thrones Legends mobile game.

I was responsible for lighting tests and key lighting for 9 shots.

5. Rustic Alleyway

A 3D environment recreation of an alleyway in Southern France.

I was responsible for all aspects, including Modeling, Texturing, and Lighting.

Software used - Maya, Substance Painter, Arnold.

6. VIXEN DANCE

A collaborative project rendered in Unreal Engine 5. After Importing the character geo and fur sim as alembic cache and camera fbx into UE5, I set dressed the environment, tweaked the fur strands settings for the desired look, edited the smoke niagara fx to mimic dry ice smoke, animated lights, and finally fixed clipping and noise in post production along with color grading.

Responsible for Set Dressing, Lighting, Compositing.

7. Tiger Groom

An Unreal Engine 5 project of a tiger walking on a branch in the jungle.

I was responsible for the environment modeling and texturing, including the trees and branch, the tiger groom simulation, lighting, and compositing.

Software used - Speedtree, Maya, XGen, Unreal Engine, Nuke, After Effects.
